Margaret and Loom is a small business based in Atlanta, Georgia, and my mom and I make every piece by hand. What started as a creative outlet has grown into something so special to us, and we’re so grateful to create meaningful, personalized embroidery for people all over the country.

In March 2020, I lost what I thought was my dream job, just weeks before my planned move to New York City. With the world in turmoil and my plans suddenly gone, I found myself searching for a new path. After prayer and reflection, I decided to create one.

Blending my love for fashion with my passion for meaningful connection, I began exploring custom embroidery. From the very beginning, my mom, Jan, was right beside me as my biggest supporter and partner in this dream.

We started small, creating tie-dye pieces in my parents’ home. Over time, our little passion project grew into Margaret and Loom. My mom has been involved every step of the way, helping with production, daily operations, and all the behind-the-scenes work that goes into running a small business. As we evolved, so did our focus. Today, we specialize in custom embroidery, creating thoughtful apparel designed to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.

The name Margaret and Loom is deeply personal to us. Margaret is a middle name shared across generations in our family, and the loom represents craftsmanship, tradition, and connection. Every piece we make is tied to a story, a memory, and a person behind it.

Since then, we’ve had the honor of creating pieces for bachelorettes, wedding parties, family reunions, local businesses, and countless special occasions. Every project reminds us why we started: clothing can carry stories, memories, and love.

At the heart of everything we do are quality, personalization, and joy. We take the time to understand your vision and bring it to life with embroidery that feels thoughtful, elevated, and made to last.
